Gasoline net production (GASNET)

What is it? 

Finished motor gasoline production in the U.S. in barrels per day. It is broken down also into regional areas known as PADDS.

Who is interested? 

While the trucking and transport sector consumes diesel, the level of gasoline production is relevant to economic health and its impact on other markets. 

What does it tell me? 

The amount of total finished gasoline produced in the U.S. on a weekly basis. Given that gasoline is a finished product that emerges after significant blending, it is the most relevant end-process number in gasoline.
