24-Hour Forecasted Snow (SNOW)

What is it?

An index that shows the total forecasted accumulation of snow for a market in a 24 hour period, from midnight to midnight.
Example: SNOW.DEN = 3.67 means the total snowfall forecast for the Denver, Colorado market for that day is 3.67 inches.

What does it tell me?

Helps determine which regions of heavy snowfall should be avoided. Majorly snow covered roads, which can turn icy, inevitably lead to long-lasting roadblocks and delay delivery of loads.
